ESL announced that their first season of the "ESL Major Series One" will be cast by Jarrett 'Kawa' Robinson and the joinDOTA commentators Toby 'TobiWan' Dawson and Christian 'Epi' Czech. Robinson, originally from the United States, will move to Germany to cover the games as the main caster.

Per cup, the following amount of points will be rewarded to the teams.
#1: 100 points (+600$)
#2: 75 points (+200$)
#3-4: 50 points (+100$)
#5-8: 25 points
#9-16: 10 points
#17-24: 5 points
