Haïdar "Haydal" Mezidi announced today that he is departing from the French roster pointing to top laner Angush's performance as the reason for that.
Previously playing as AD carry, Haydal has been part of two of the larger French organizations Eclypsia and Millenium but switched role after Mill reformed with new roster in late December.
Haydal's statement on his departure comes three days after his team failed to make the Season 3 LCS cut. He mentions how despite enjoying playing bot lane with Creaton, he found Angush's performance in the tournament and overall level of skill dissatisfying.
So I told the team I didn't wanted to stay as a support if we keep Angush in top, I went mad mode when we lost season 3 qualifiier cuz I felt like he was not tryharding at all and lost CWolves games by himself while I was giving my best (even if Im not the best support in term of warding/map awareness) cuz I was kinda playing for my life. So I told them I quit the team its too frustrating for me to play support with a player that I dont appreciate.
Millenium's response to Haydal's post comes in the form of statements from team manager Flyy, mid laner Tabzz and jungler ImSoFresh, who further commented on the situation.
After a period of disappointing tournament games, we decided to part ways with Haydal. The major reason is the bad behavior towards the team and his desire to not play support. We can not continue with him and will play the next tournament with our sixth player, FatMamma.
According to Tabzz, Haydal's "destructive behavior" dates back to the times of the now-defunct Eclypsia but he was given another chance with the reforming of Millenium. In Tabzz's words, Haydal started off well but his performance eventually fell off and his "stubborn raging phase" reappeared after Mill's lost to Copenhagen Wolves in LCS Europe Qualifiers - words later supported by team's jungler ImSoFresh.
Haydal's spot will be taken by FatMamma.
