After going through many an organization since parting ways with Orbit Gaming, the five of Cloud 9 - namely Nientonsoh, Hai, LemonNation, WildTurtle and Yazuki - have decided to split ways.

The aforementioned players signed with American-based organization Orbit Gaming on May 25th and in the course of the next months they managed to place high in several major tournaments, including top eight at MLG Spring Championship and top four at MLG Summer Championship. In November, however, the five decided to leave Orbit Gaming as they reported to have been robbed by it of more than $5,000 in cash and gear.

Following their departure, the ex-Orbiters delivered another great performance and took third at Lone Star Clash 2, signing with Quantic Gaming the same day. This was another partnership that was not meant to last however, as in December the entire Quantic organization closed doors, leaving the Nientonsoh and company teamless.

For a while, the roster competed under the name NomNom before finally renaming themselves to Cloud 9, under which attended the Season 3 NA qualifiers, the first matches of which were played yesterday. Finishing third in Group D, however, was not what Cloud 9 needed and after failing to make the Season 3 Championship cut, they decided to put it all to end.
