The World Champions are back on home Asian turf and they've never looked stronger. As the new season of the Garena Proleague kicks off, TPA come in with a blast.
Losing their play caller Mistake to their sister team Taipei Snipers apparently had no effect on Taipei Assassins. Under the new captainship of Toyz, TPA were ruthless this month and took two very easy victories over Manila Eagles and GPL newcomers Fantastic Five, piling a 15K+ gold lead in both those series.
Bangkok Titans and Saigon Jokers were also consistent enough to score two wins before the first week is over and are now tied for first with TPA.
Week 2 of the GPL is scheduler for January 11-13th with the matches on Friday being BKT vs SAJ, SF5 vs SGS and TPA vs AHQ.
