Craving revenge for their debut loss, EG-TL went out to face KT Rolster on all-kill battlefields. What they got instead was death by a bonjwa.
Suffering their one and only 0-4 loss at the hands of KT Rolster, EG-TL were looking forward to return the favor, now with their aces Taeja and Hero irrevocably on their side and with the rules of the game now changed.
As it turned out, this didn't matter at all as far as Flash was concerned. The Ultimate Weapon was the first (and only) player that KT Rolster sent forth to secure their second 4-0 victory against EG-TL. Flash plowed through Revival, HerO, Taeja and JYP in that order, scoring the first individual all-kill for the season.
The second match for the day ended up closer and once again saw a terran triumph. On the back of a three-game win streak, Fantasy built upon soO's victory from earlier in the serie and secured a 4-2 win for SK Telecom by slaying Bogus, Trap and Dear. Fantasy's streak does not only deliver SKT's first win for the round, but also shoots him at the very top of the individual rankings with a score of 9-2.
After the first set of matches in Round 2, KT Rolster lead the overall rankings with the staggering +17 points. Second are Woongjin Stars with +11, followed by SK Telecom with +7 and Team 8 with -3, who are standing on the other side of the huge 10-point chasm between the top three and everybody else.
