The all-killing has begun: Proleague Round 2

SK Planet's Proleague enters its second round and switches up how every series is played. Stars, CJ, KHAN and T8 were the ones to open the new segment of competition while fans prepared for another four weeks of team league action.

With the help of Sos, Free and ZerO, Woongjin Stars punished the reigning champions and currently fifth in the overall ranking CJ Entus with 4-2 and continue their excellent performance in the Proleague. Entus led with their protoss superstar hero[join] but all he could do is fall to Sos in one very short PvZ. It was Hydra and Bbyong who won some sets over for CJ Entus and relied on zerg ace Effort to deliver the comeback, facing Stars' ZerO in the sixth match. It was then that Effort's treacherous ZvZ performance this season came to haunt him, having him drop the set and thus the series.

Finishing Round 1 on 6th place, Team 8 urgently needed a recovery victory, and they were lucky enough to get it. KeSPA's team only needed Cure and Sang to rip apart whatever Samsung KHAN sent their way, and they did send their best. Yet it was only Jangbi who managed to steal a set from Team 8, while Stork, Reality and RorO were all chased home empty handed.

Tomorrow is another exciting day for the Proleague as in the first match for the day, EG-TL go against KT Rolster. The joint roster surely still remembers what Flash and company did to them in the first round but this time it has its aces Taeja and HerO by its side and foreign fans are excited about the possibility of an all-kill revenge.

In the next match, SKT meets STX Soul. Boxer's boys had a hard-fought journey to the top three in the first round, mostly playing six and seven set series. The previous encounter between them and STX was a 4:3 blood bath that went into SKT's favor and with players like Rain and Fantasy (both in the top five stats-wise), this looks to be an extremely difficult match for Soul once again.
