Stephano confirmed for Code S, Up/Down Wild Cards introduced

Stephano's tweet from a few days ago about his Code S seed gets official confirmation today: the Frenchman will take Polt's place in Code S.

In addition, as opposed to previous GSL seasons, the last two Code S seeds will not be handed out to excelling players but rather won via the so called wild card matches. Every player who finishes third in his Up/Down group will be sent to the wild cards which is a separate, round-robin style of a group. The top two will advance to Code S and the bottom three fall to Code A.

Be reminded that two more foreigners will compete in the Up/Down matches starting January 6th. Grubby shares a group with Losira, First, Bbyong, Symbol and DRG while HuK is in the company of NesTea, Center, Fantasy, Finale and Flying.
