aL present their new Academy Team

While everyone was eagerly waiting what the new aL roster had in store, the multi-gaming clan has picked up a second Dota 2 squad. They pick up Romy and the Rest (RATR) who are currently playing in the third season of The Defense.

Absolute Legends still has to present their main roster - under MaNia's leadership. They do however have a second roster they just presented. Former Romy and the Rest players will now play under the tag aL.Academy.

They are currently 1-1 in group A of The Defense season 3. The European mix, which is mostly Icelandic if you count their manager, consists of rather unknown and inexperienced players, but the aL management seems confident in both their skill as well as their potential.

Statement by Islam 'Samo' Kenawy - Head of the Dota 2 Sector at aL:

"I have been keeping up with RATR for as long as I can remember, I've known chroMium for quite a while now before he even joined a team and I know the amount of talent he has. As soon as I found out they were playing in TD3 qualifiers I followed their progress and while I was really impressed, it was not very surprising since I'm aware of the sum of talent this team has.

I'm really glad that after talking to the rest of the management board at aL we decided to open this new division which aims to support upcoming teams, I believe it's something more organizations should do. I'm also even happier that we are picking this team in particular, I can see aL.Academy quickly becoming a top team. "

aL.Academy:

Iceland Eythor 'linkoo' Kristjansson (C)
Iceland Fannar 'chroMium' Ingvarsson
Germany Philip 'Pandasaurusrex' Zentara
England Daniel 'BLR' Rovardi
Greece Dimitris 'aCidrain' Petridis

Iceland Valgeir 'Koxxy' Haukdal (Manager)
