IGN Team League's second season tonight

It's reigning champions StarTale against Evil Geniuses, the latter of whom have been on a signing spree the last few days.

Similarly to the previous season, teams are divided into Premier, Contender and Amateur division with different ways to get promoted or demoted depending on their results.

As reigning champions, StarTale will be playing in the opening match for the second season. The Koreans are bringing in a roster of champions and talents among which Parting, Life, Bomber and Squirtle. With a silver at GSTL Season 1 and top four at GSTL 3 in addition to their IPTL 1 triumph, StarTale are certainly a team that has shown it can place high in such tournaments.

Against them are the ever-growing roster of Evil Geniuses. The North American organization recently acquired BroodWar bonjwa and former T8 zerg Jaedong as well as ex-TSL player Revival and are coming in with lots of fresh blood and with a bronze medal from the previous season.



The tournament is expected to go on for two months, ending with a grand final on February 7th and a $9,000 for the winners.
