To bring the 1st place home, TSM would have to defeat Curse twice. The first series was won decisively in favor of TSM, with Curse showing a strong presence until dragon and baron dances begin, which has always and continues to be their tragic downfall.
In the second series of the night, we had Ex-Quantic vs Fear. The teams were even in score until game 3 where Aphromoo would find himself with a 2-0 start due to a lackluster level 1 fight performance from Ex-Quantic.
Meeting in the Loser's Bracket finals this week was Curse and FeaR, Due to technical issues on FeaR's side, there was only one game in this series. The game started off 2-0 for Cop and muffinQT and the lead would snowball from there with FeaR unable to recover from the poor start.
TSM would find themselves facing Curse again in the finals with a very close first game - that is until Curse provided the audience with it's infamous baron throws once again. Curse did manage to take a game off of TSM, but TSM would prevail and utterly demolish them in the third game, making them reign supreme in this week's Solomid Series.
