Proleague day two: The champions crush face

Apparently, CJ Entus have no intention whatsoever to slow their momentum from the previous season and delivered some obliteration to Woongjin Stars.

Opening with Fokins and lining up their best players right behind him did not help Woongjin Stars one bit. None of Flying, Soulkey and ZerO managed to claim a victory for their team and so sOs' triumph against CJ ace Effort meant little to nothing. This 4-1 win puts Entus just one point below current leaders KT Rolster, who yesterday demolished the joint roster of EG-TL.

Much closer was the match between Team 8 and last season runner-ups Samsung KHAN. When it lost its ace in Jaedong just a few days ago, Team 8's roster was looking barren and without any power left in it to stand strong against the powerful line-up of KHAN.

As expected, Stork, Roro and Reality were flawless for Samsung but Team 8 were not without claws either. T8's Ryul2 and Jaehoon took care of Jangbi and Shine. Still in the lead despite their losses, KHAN sent TurN forward to seal the deal in the sixth set.

It was then when TurN's poor TvT record backfired and T8's Speed was successful in pushing the series into an ace match. T8 sent Baby while KHAN relied on Shine, a somewhat odd decision considering the availability of one much more experienced ZvT-er in RorO. Baby's mech marched in on Bifrost to flay KHAN's zerg and T8 took а precious first victory.
