SMM is getting closer, and we had a small chat with the team manager Nadya of team PhoeniX from Indonesia regarding their group and the upcoming tournament.
Isn't your team more known as RitteR-ART?
Yes. But actually, we no longer use RitteR-ART’s name. Now, we play under PhoeniX Esports. We will use the name Olympic-PHX for SMM.
Phoenix eSports? First time I've heard of it. Is it a new gaming organization?
Yes it is. We are a gaming organization which focuses on holding some tournaments and organizing gaming teams at this moment.

Does it only focus on DotA?
For now we are only focus on DotA but soon we will include other games such as Dota 2, LoL, HoN, and others.
For a start, how is the Dota scene in Indonesia at the moment?
Most top DotA players in Indonesia moved to play Dota 2, so the number of players who are playing DotA is not as high as it used to be. But still there are many local tournament for DotA because there is only [still] a few tournament for Dota 2.

Will this be the team’s first International Tournament?
No, the team have participated in ESTC last year and also in GEST.
So why did you decide to attend SMM this year? What makes this year different from the others?
In our opinion, SMM 2012 may be the last big event for DotA, so we will try our best.

We don't see any reason why we can't.”Yes, they are doing bootcamp, by practicing against local teams and also researching for some tactics. As like any other teams participating in this tournament, we will aim to be the champion. We don’t see any reason why we can't.
