IPL5 Day 3: The CLG's fall, but put on an amazing show

Though both of the hopeful teams were eliminated, they showcased some of the best plays in the tournament.

It is not often that an NA team defeats their European brother team historically, but in their first time meeting competitively, Curse NA manages to do just that. Though eliminated in the first game despite the valiant attempts of Voyboy to split push and apply pressure elsewhere on the map, it works against their favor where a free baron would han Curse EU a free win on a silver platter.

Curse EU looks just as solid in game two, but they wouldn't be taking home that sweet, sweet victory this time around. NA starts with a solid 2-0 lead and engages very favorable fights, and we were even able to see Cop evolve into the infamous "Fat Cop" The series would end with some of the best plays we've seen Curse NA make competitively. Cop had simply godlike Ashe arrows and Crs NA, with fantastic teamwork, advanced.

The next series would bring us into potentially and arguable the most exciting series we've seen in this tournament. The first game is fairly passive at the start, but WE picks it up against CLG EU and brings it into a Game 2. With everything that could describe Game 2, Most people will be left speechless just watching it. The game encompasses loads of action and encompasses everything required to an entertaining competitive League of Legends match.

This wasn't the only shocker, as we'd see M5 deleting Azubu Blaze from the tournament with some astonishing play. M5 still is climbing through the loser bracket yet to be eliminated while Azubu Blaze goes home with 7th place. Can't say that was seen coming.

To conclude the summary, we'll talk about Counter Logic Gaming NA. Not only were they the last surviving North American team, but they took a game off both Fnatic (who 2-0'd TPA earlier in the tournament) and M5, but unfortunately would falter after. Doublelift shocked the world once again by achieving two Pentakills with the most recent one being listed below.

Now that's what I call bravery and determination from Doublelift

Make sure to check out the final day of IPL5 December 2nd at 19:00 CET as it'll be hard to say who can take this one home. There's been so many upsets, crowd-pleasing picks and renewing performances that it's bound to be a hell of a ride.
