Protoss once again dominates the big tournaments. At the end of play for groups C and D only one brave Terran - MarineKing, stayed afloat.

In group D MarineKing started out with a lose to the Chinese Jim only to come back with four wins against the rest of the group. Both qxc and Jim ended up with scores of 3-2 but in their match-up against each other, Jim came out the victor as he progresses to the Playoffs.

Group C saw a total dominance of Protoss over Zerg - out of 9 PvZ matches the score is 8-1 for Toss. CombatEX and Adelscott topped the group with scores of 4-1 each as they progress to the playoffs, leaving fraer and three disgruntled Zergs behind.

The playoffs started out with two PvP matches where the two Chinese MacSed and Jim faced off to produce a 2-0 score for MacSed. Canadian CombatEX and Korean PartinG followed with a 2-1 in PartinG's name. The last two Terrans in the competition saw their defeats as French Adelscott defeated Peruvian Fenix 2-0 and LoWeLy managed to topple MarineKing 2-0 as well.

This leaves us with a PvP and a PvZ for the Semifinals and a chance for another major tournament PvP finals. Four players from four countries, China, Korea, France and Belarus will face off in the final day of the WCG 2012.
