WCG day one: One Korean down, two more to go

South Korea is suffering not the most optimal start at WCG 2012 as IM's protoss YongHwa is already out of the tournament.

That's PartinG who lost just one game to Fenix and advanced as second in group B and MarineKing who is yet to play his group D matches tomorrow.

Group A was dominated by home country representative Macsed. In the absence of DarkForce, the Chinese protoss went 4-0 and left YongHwa, Lowely and FireZerg entwined in a tiebreaker for the second spot. Pulling two straight victories put the Belarusian second and he'll live another day to fight the Group D winner.

As this wrapped up the first playday of World Cyber Games '12, the contenders in the other two groups are preparing to go on stage at 04:00 CET on November 30th. Group C is an all-foreign one with Fraer, CombatEX, Paranoid, Adelscott, Killer and JimRising while Group D welcomes one of the tournament favorites MarineKing along with Jim, qxc, Hendralisk, Turuk and Capoch.
