After an absolutely stunning showing between the two title holders of Dreamhack, the original champion and Season 1 champion came showing to reclaim their throne.
It was a long, but phenomenal day at DreamHack. with the BYOC teams contesting, Fnatic showing their old S1 dominance erupting on the scene, and CLG.EU beasting it up with their own style as usual. Everyone was shocked when Sju Sjösjuka Sjömän and Copenhagen Wolves made it to the playoffs, while some suspected teams like Curse.EU were not able to make it.

The day kicked off finishing the group stages with the BYOC teams putting up a fight against Counter Logic Gaming EU and FnaticRC. At the end of the day, CLG and Fnatic would move to the grand finals despite the hard effort.
The finals were explosive with clutch grabs by Krepo, innovative compositions from Fnatic, and outstanding motivation from the crowd. The first game started off looking like Fnatic would take it straight away, but CLG pulled out their trademark turtling tactics and took it away. Following right after, CLG narrowly took another victory, despite it not going too late.
The last match was a nail-biter, but showcased the vigor and determination to return the title to the hands of the original team, Fnatic, and thus ripping the title off the shoulders of CLG EU in the epic finale.
