Tales of the Lane comes to a fantastic end as the teams fighting in the Grand Final were neither teams expected to make it past the semi-finals.

It's been a crazy, long game today at Tales of the Lane. Moscow 5 don't take a single game off of Curse EU and SK gaming get absolutely demolished by Eclypsia.
In the first set, an up and rising team ended up facing 2nd place European Regionals team, SK Gaming. Eclypsia made it very difficult for them to justify that title and brought complete and utter domination to SK gaming. Neither games were very close and that led to the first of the upsets!
The next set would show Moscow 5 Wagering more of a fight for sure, but Curse EU still took it home. They wanted to show that the russians wouldn't always hold the crown over Europe and that any team can rise to the top. Not even giving up a game to Moscow 5, Curse EU decisively takes the victory to the surprise of the masses.
The 3rd place match launches off with SK presenting a stronger fight than they have in the last set. SK would give M5 some trouble and make the games go back and forth and even stay ahead of M5 a few times. To SK's demise, M5 showed a more solid execution and left SK with a saddening 0-4 result on this final day, with M5 taking third.
The Grand Finals were absolutely explosive, with games going back and forth, unorthodox champions being picked, wild team compositions, and very even skill. There's not many times you get a finals as worthy as this, and both teams constantly pressured each other. The results were dead even until the very end, where Curse reigned.
