SK no-show sees them eliminated from The Siege

SK Gaming have been removed from The Siege after failing to turn up to their playoff match against M5.

In2LOL's The Siege has had its problems with roster changes and disbandment, so it's almost fitting that the oft-changed SK Gaming have been removed from the tournament. Only three players from the current makeshift roster showed up to their scheduled game against Moscow Five, leaving admins with no choice. The had already been rescheduled, and was finally abandoned tonight after admins waiting 30 minutes for SK to find a substitute.

At 19:30, 30 minutes after the schedule start time, Carlos 'Ocelote' Santiago had failed to appear and so the match was awarded to Moscow Five, who move on to face Alternate in the lower bracket semi-final. The date of that game has yet to be arranged.

Important to note is that SK were not removed directly from the tournament, but the fact that this default was in the lower bracket means that they are eliminated somewhat naturally. However, transfer rumours continue to surround a team which has rarely had a stable roster.

The Siege continues on Monday (November 5) with Curse EU against GIANTS.
