Tales of the Lane is a community-funded tournament, produced by the creators of Stacraft 2 tournament Iron Squid. Donations over recent months have exceeded what the organiser asked for and means that 10 of Europe’s best League of Legends team will fight for €30,000 in prizes, starting tomorrow (October 26).
Two groups of five will duke it out until only four remain for the grand finals in the illustrious Casino de Paris. The top team from each group will qualify directly for semi-finals in Paris, while 2nd and 3rd will go to the online quarter-finals. The group stage will be best-of-one, with all group games being played in a single night – October 26 for Group A, October 27 for Group B. The quarter-finals will be played online on the 28th, which means the whole tournament will be very hectic.
The grand finals are set for November 11, with an impressive €15,000 going to first place from this list of 10 teams:
