The Siege returns for playoffs

The Siege is back for its third and final stage – the playoffs.

It’s been a long season by esports standards, but In2LOL’s The Siege is finally on the home stretch. Eight teams remain and two of them will go head-to-head in the first round of the upper bracket. The rising star of Alternate will face a Curse team who won their last tournament – The Empire TV Challenge. You can hardly ask for a better opening match and you can see the whole thing live from 18:00 CET tomorrow (October 23).

The next game will be October 24, featuring two of the lesser lights that remain. Spanish team Giants have caused much confusion through the tournament thanks to their constant name and roster changes, but after topping their second group with a 1-1 record they will look to stop a Tt Dragons who somehow beat M5 in their last Siege match. That match was a controversial one, with DDoS attacks and accusations of M5 trolling, but Dragons won’t care about that if they can go deeper into this tournament.

For Moscow Five, they face SK having being put in the lower bracket thanks to their second place finish in the second group stage. That game is currently postponed, with confirmed date still pending. The winner of that match will face Fnatic, who received a bye thanks to Gamehoppers being unable to field a team.
