Considered to be one of the biggest E-Sports events for many years , SMM continues its gaming tradition with its usual annual tournament. Contrary to thoughts post SMM '11, the games will still be held on the the classic Warcraft III mod-map, DotA.
Applying international teams will be seeded into the event and prioritized on a first-come first-served basis. There won't be any registration fees for international teams.
Local teams, on the other hand, will undergo various Regional Qualifiers to determine who will get a slot on the Grand Finals.
SMM ' 12 will be held in Cyberjaya, Malaysia from the 13th to 16th of December, 2012.
