After the disappointment of missing out on the all-important top three and IEM Cologne, Fnatic went some way to cleansing that pain by destroying all challengers at Campus Party. When the three-man SK mix and Curse were eliminated in the group stage, the stage seemed perfect for Fnatic to take home the tournament and they did so in scintillating style. After dispatching SK with a little help from a Katarina mid, Fnatic went undefeated in the group stage and moved on to face Mousesports in the semi-final. Another comfortable-looking 2-0 there saw them progress to the grand final against Meet Your Makers.
The final was yet another hammering. MYM had looked strong enough to warrant their place in the final, but Fnatic were in a different league. In the final game of the series, MYM managed to hold on for 40 minutes, but an 8/2 Ashe with over 400 creepscore was was never likely to be beaten. A 3-0 sweep for Fnatic earned them a ridiculous 11-0 overall score for the tournament, not to mention a nice bit of cash to take home too. For MYM, who were never likely to win this event, it was an excellent showing and definitely a performance for the Poles to build on in future.
