The groups of Gigabyte eSport Tournament August have been assigned. GEST IDC August will happen on 11 and 12 August.
Unlike the July edition of GEST, this time, the top 3 teams of the previous month are not in any same group. Neolution eSports, the runner-up of July, will be playing in Group A. iZone, the 3rd placed team from the Philippines, is seeded into group C. The winners of last two month's GESTs, team Pacific.eMaxx, will be playing in group D.
All groups now have four teams, but each group will be filled with a fifth team coming from one of the four qualifier slots.

As usual for Gigabyte eSport Tournaments, group phase will be completed on Saturday. Only the first three teams of each group are promoted to the playoffs. The playoffs will be single elimination, with the group winners already in the round of eight.
