
The tournament will start with 6 separate regional qualifiers for North America, Europe, Oceania, South East Asia, Commonwealth of Independent States and South Korea - champions of which will receive an all expenses paid trip to Jönköping, Sweden to participate in the live DreamHoN finals at DreamHack Summer 2012 where they will fight it out for a total prize pool of 60,000 USD. Joining them there will be the Bring-Your-Own-Computer qualifier winner as well as the reigning DreamHack HoN Champions - Fnatic.RaidCall.
The sign-ups for the first three regional qualifiers start today and end on the 22nd of April, 2012. The schedule is also already known and you can take a look at it by following the links provided below.
Once they arrive at the live LAN event, the 8 teams will play in a round-robin group stage to determine four semi-finalists who will then fight for glory in a Bo3 single-elimination. The Grand Finals will as always be played at the magnificent Dream Arena in front of a huge crowd.
Phil "The Thrill" Haller, S2 Games Director of eSports, will be a guest on tonight's "MOBAWeekly" show starting at 5PM EST/23:00 CET where he will talk in detail about the event.
