Major League Gaming have disclosed additional details on the first Arena tournament for the Spring Season. The 8-player $10,900 event will be covered by six casters and three analysts.

MLG Spring Arena 1 will kick off April 20th-- the first Spring tournament to be streamed live--will feature the top eight from MLG Winter Championship, namely:

Korea MarineKing
Korea DongRaeGu
Korea Heart
Canada Huk
Korea Parting
Korea Ganzi
Korea Violet
Korea MC (substituting for Naniwa who will not be able to attend)

The player pool is of grand skill for sure but the crew that will commentate and analyze the event is also next to none. A total of six casters will sit behind the mic, including Tasteless, Artosis, DjWheat, JP McDaniel, Rob Simpson and Grubby. They'll joined by three match analysts: qxc, Axslav and Sheth. This trio's job will be to "break everything down between games, covering the history of the players, their records against each other, their playstyles and expected strategies, and more."

The $10,900 prize purse will be divided among the top four finishers, who will also be seeded into the Spring Arena 2. The remaining four will get Invite-only qualifiers seeds.

The weekend of Spring Arena 1 action is going to be spread out between seven streams and will have the following schedule:

The Central stream (1080p): a highly-polished production featuring half the matches of the tournament.
The Gameplay Stream (1080p): a fast-paced, all-action stream, featuring the other half of the tournament's matches.
Four POV streams (720p): one for each player who's competing on the Central and Gameplay streams.
The Dr Pepper Ultimate Access stream (720p): free to everyone, all weekend long. The stream will feature interviews, analysis, behind-the-scenes coverage, and a lot more hosted by MLG's own Clutch (Josh Gray).
