The only remaining foreigner in the MLG Winter Championship faced Complexity's Heart in what ended up being HuK's last match in the tournament. MLG WC is now a strictly Korean affair with Heart and DRG to fight for the privilege to face MarineKing in the grand final.
HuK and Heart entered an extended series with the terran being 2-1 ahead and one standard macro game later, Heart's lead got even bigger. HuK retaliated on Tal'Darim by stopping Heart's 3-rax concussive shell rush with a quick robo but overall it was not meant for the Canadian to make it to another top 3.
HuK's faith was decided on Shakuras Plateau as the protoss failed to bring his gateway rush to fruition and was punished severely for it in the mid-game. Final score: 4-2 for Heart.
