GomTV released today the list of the twenty-two players that are certain to take part in the upcoming Code S Season 2. 20 of the Code S S1 players will be joined by the seeded Polt and Naniwa and also by ten more coming from the up-and-down matches.
Johan "Naniwa" Lucchesi will get another shot and the GSL Code S as he receives one of the two seeded spots into the tournament. The Swedish protoss receives this honor twice in a row for the 2012 season now, but his Season 1 spot was revoked following the events of the Blizzard Cup.
The second seed goes to the Super Tournament champion and recent Assembly Winter 2012 winner Sung Hoon "Polt" Choi. Although falling to Code A during GSL November and staying there during 2012 Season 1, Polt was quick to recover his fans' trust by performing excellently on Finnish ground, crushing 4-1 Stephano in the grand final to put the $10,000 Assembly cheque in his pocket.
The only other foreigner left in the GSL is EG's HuK who, after SEn's forfeiture of his up-and-down-spot, will play on Thursday in up-and-down group D.
