Coming this April, the IGN ProLeague will host its fourth live StarCraft 2 event. In Las Vegas, Nevada, 20 players will on April 6 hop in to five groups to battle for the $100,000 USD prize pool.
The event sees cream of the crop Korean and international competition, from the Zerg King NesTea to the recent Assembly Winter winner Polt. IdrA, White-Ra and Stephano and are thus far the only foreign players invited ( based on their winnings in the previous three seasons) but registered players for the live qualifier list strong names like HuK, Dimaga, TLO, HayprO and ret and many more.
12 of the 20 spots in the group stage have been filled from live event and online qualifiers as well as direct invitations. The remaining 8 group stage seeds will be determined in the live qualifier at the Las Vegas event.
The tournament streaming coverage will feature a free 480p stream, but the IPL crew also present a 1080p HD quality stream with the IPL3 premiered LiveU cam. This for a $5 USD cost per month.
