The last foreigner at the MLG Winter Arena Chris "HuK" Loranger finally met his tournament's end at the hands of MVP's DongRaeGu. The evil genius shall be bringing home $3,600 as part of his third place finish.
DongRaeGu prevailed in a very textbook fashion after HuK chose to go for a third nexus in game one and allowed the zerg to macro up in peace. The result was just an endless stream of burrowed roaches supported by DRG's perfect macro that soon got him a 100 supply lead.
Game two was a bit more peculiar with HuK warping four cannons in attempt to deny the zerg natural but as he got spotted, he immediately found himself in trouble. DongRaeGu managed to slip a few lings past HuK's defenses and delay his mining for a long time before the protoss could clean it all up and transition to a stable 3-base economy. Hpwever, as we all know, passive protosses are DRG's specialty and the Antiga Shipyard set ended in a much similar way as did game one.
DongRaeGu thus advances to the championship finals of the MLG Winter Arena, his opponent being none other than MarineKingPrime.
