Looking to get your hands on an elusive Dota 2 beta key? If yes, then this co-sponsored 1v1 tournament could be your ticket!
The World DotA Council (WDC-Online) and popular platform, Dotalicious-Gaming, are collaborating to award a Dota 2 beta key to the winner of a 128-player 1v1 tournament! The first season of the European DotA Championship 1v1 Mini-Cup will take place on Saturday, October 22.
Interested players should visit www.wdc-online.com to familiarize themselves with event expectations, including signup information and rules, as quickly as possible, because the 128 slots will fill quickly through a "first come, first serve" basis. The event is scheduled to start 12:30 CET and will culminate with the finals being played at 15:45 CET. Participants will need to take notice that all matches will be played on the Dotalicious-Gaming client and set up the client beforehand. All chat will be handled through the IRC channel posted on the information page; therefore, one should also familiarize his or herself with the communications tool prior to the competition.
Please note that this specific contest is open only to European residents, as stated in the event name. However, according to WDC-Online, follow up contests for other continents will be held in the near future as well for those outside of Europe.
