The oGs terran TheSTC is the second Winners Bracket finalist at MLG Orlando. TheSTC pulled a 2-1 triumph over reigning champion Bomber in a tense TvT series.
TheSTC won the first set on Antiga Shipyard when Bomber foolishly stimmed and ran his marines into tank fire, giving his opponent a 70 supply advantage. In game 2 on Dual Sight, both terrans opened with mirroring reaper into mass marine builds but never really had a big decisive engagement. Instead, as the marine armies passed each other a base race scenario ensued, which Bomber won by having a bit more marines and by pulling SCVs to defend his main base.

The final set on Tal'Darim Altar saw TheSTC opening a proxy reactor hellion but was met by Bomber's furious micro. Knowing that each unit means life and death, the players controlled everything perfectly, with Bomber soon getting an edge as his banshee popped out. However, by having two vikings to just one and keeping Bomber's marines occupied as much as he can with his hellions, TheSTC succeeded into sniping the banshee and seizing the series 2-1.
TheSTC's opponent in the WB final will be EG's HuK, who defeated MarineKing 2-0.
