At the end of the second day of Global Challenge New York, FruitDealer walked out with a 3-1 victory over ex team-mate Killer. The ST zerg will find out who his opponent at the semi-finals will be once the Ro8 resumes tomorrow.
After winning a base trade in the first set, but losing the second one on Shakuras, FruitDealer found his strength to end the series in his favour. Coming into set 3 on Terminus, FruitDealer embraced his macro side and did not give Killer even the shortest moment to take the rest, ending him with a permamaxed infestor/roach army.

FruitDealer opened the final set with a 1-base ling/baneling rush, crippling Killer's economy severely. The protoss tried to recover but the task proved impossible and so Killer gg-ed out.
FruitDealer will face the winner of Gatored and DongRaeGu, which, as every other quarter-final match, will be played tomorrow.
