Our household team, Team GosuGamers, can announce another Korean addition. He goes by the name of Kyung Su "Royal" Kim, and is a former member of Team MVP.

We put together a replay package with five fresh Royal replays. Enjoy!

Royal, also known as Yeopo, reached A- on iCCup back in Brood War, and has been playing StarCraft 2 for almost a year. His most notable performance was in the preliminaries for GSL May where he was one match away from reaching Code A. A 0-2 loss to StarTale's Squirtle ended the 19-year-old's long preliminary weekend.

GosuGamers are proud to have Royal as a member in the growing Korean squad. Read on to see what Royal has to say about joining us!

Hi Royal, it's nice to finally present you as the new GosuGamers team member! Tell us a bit about yourself!

- Hi, I'm Kyung Su Kim, and I'm 19 years old. I play Zerg in sc1 and sc2, and was A- ICCup in Broodwar, and former MVP team player in Starcraft:2.

How long have you been playing StarCraft 2, and how has your experience with the game been?

- I've been playing Starcraft 2 for almost one year, and I failed to qualify for Code A sadly, losing to StarTale_Squirtle in the finals, back when I was in MVP. Since then, I've played in some foreign tournaments, and won a few Zotacs. Not much else besides that.

Tell us how you came in contact with our Korea captain Nick and what drove you to accept to join GosuGamers!

- Nick lived in the ProS house for almost three months. I knew Youngjun had already been a member for some time too. Then I saw Daewon join as well, and then Byung Kwan. I asked Galaxy jokingly sometimes if it would be possible for me to join, since I had wanted to be in a team again, and we were all friends. However a few days before Nick left ProS house he asked me if I seriously wanted to join. I want to improve, and I know that is Nick's overall goal for the team, is to go back to SC1 training style, which I believe will do just that.

Tell us more about the SC1 trainig style that you just mentioned. Why do you think it will be better for you guys?

- Right now, most teams do not really train their players, but rather let them practice as they please, and give them an environment to do so. While this is what I'm used to, I know that the teams that force training perform much better. Like SlayerS. Also, it's not doubt that all the former SC1 gosu's who come over and take their practice serious, always excel. However when they stop using the SC1 method of training, they fall off (Min Chul, oGsMC). This is proof that, that type of training pays off.

Explain your Zerg playstyle. Do you have any player you look up to?

- I play zerg slightly aggressive, but the player I look up to the most is NesTea. And also, SlayerS`Coca.

Tell us more about your experiences in the GSL qualifiers. Is it as tough as people say? How do you enter a that long and tough qualifier? Do you get nervous?

- I made it to the finals vs Squirtle, but I got extremely nervous and performed poorly T.T . Just like most Koreans, I'm new to these kind of tournament systems, having not played in anything like it in SC1. However since then, my nerves have become much better. However, when I do get nervous, I can concentrate much more. But my accuracy with my mouse and hand speed decrease.

GosuGamers is becoming a Zerg nest, with five players, so I guess finding ZvZ practice partners aren't hard. But who else do you practice with? How does your daily schedule look like in the ProS house?

- Well, I believe for Zerg there is only Galaxy, myself, and Naugrim, whom I don't really know. Nick is a dual player, so it is hard to classify his race in my opinion. I mainly just play ladder, and practice with some friends, which is normal for most Koreans. However as I said before, this should change once the training style changes.

What can we expect in the future for you, Royal, and the rest of the team? Any last words to your fans, any shoutouts?

- I do not want to be overly optimistic, however I hope everything goes well, and we can all continue to grow and get better. Thankfully the team is made up of all good friends, so I don't see any problems arising the way they can in other korean teams. And I probably do not have any fans ^^;, so, thank you to GosuGamers. ^^;
