The French star zerg player Ilyes "Stephano" Satouri is the only foreigner still left standing in the IPL 3 championship bracket. After crushing two Koreans to reach the semi-finals, Stephano needs to repeat this feat once again to reach the grand final.
Stephano faced Korean protoss Inori - the player who eliminated both MC and HuK in previous rounds - in the last Ro8 match for the day. After being down 0-1, Stephano surged back in to tie the score with a massive fungal/corruptor play against Inori's void rays and sealed the series with unbelievable surround in set 3 to walk out with a 2-1 victory.
The other two foreigners that made it to the quarter finals were not as fortunate. Ret fell 0-2 to Lucky (who previously defeated Boxer and Ryung to make his IPL portfolio quite intimidating) and Idra found defeat at the hands of TheSTC after failing to scout the marauder/hellion rush in time.
