DreamHack will be putting a grand end to the 2011 season with their Winter 2011 event. The SC2 tournament at one of the largest events in Europe will feature a prize pool twice as big as the one at DreamHack Summer, reaching 400,000 SEK.
The gold medallist alone will bring home half that amount, walking out €21,600 richer. Nine players are thus far known to participate at DH Winter 2011 with 55 more to be determined as the application process, the online qualifiers and the regional tournaments go by.

The tournament format will feature two group stages (the Ro32 and the Ro16) and once they are completed, the third day will begin with the elimination bracket. DreamHack Winter itself is scheduled to kick off on November 24-26
