As of most recent updates, the upcoming IeSF 2011 World Championship will be void of Korean SC2 contenders. The reason stems from the KeSPA headquarters, the association being responsible for choosing the national representatives.

Those events impose an odd situation as the World Championship itself is to be held in Andong, South Korea on October 6-9. After 16 countries had already determined their representative at the event, South Korea thus far remains without such.

An English translation on TL.net reveals that KeSPA, which is in charge of selecting the South Korean representatives, will not go on with the procedure since StarCraft 2 is not officially recognized title by the association.

Currently, StarCraft 2 is not listed as official title at the IeSF 2011 World Championship. The Blizzard RTS was supposed to be the third game at the event along with FIFA Online 2 and A.V.A. DailyGame.co.kr have cast updates on the situation saying that IeSF have not reached agreement upon SC2 licence and is considering changing the game from official to exhibition title.

The player list for the IeSF 2011 World Championship is currently in the following form:
