OSPL Autumn 2011 to start in November

Defending champions M5 at OSPL Spring

OSPL returns for a second edition promising a much bigger prize pool and stiffer competition. The official list of invited teams have not been released but with a total prize pool of over $25,000, surely top teams such as M5 and Na'Vi will be anticipating to participate in this event.

The tournament will feature 24 teams, half of whom will be decided through qualifiers held around Kazakhstan while the other half is reserved for invited teams. Held from the 19th-20th of November, the tournament will follow a group stage and a double elimination brackets for the main event.

Perhaps what might also interest fans to know would be that OSPL Autumn will introduce a special side-event - a 1v1 Shadowfiend competition where the winner walks home with more than $300 in cash. Participation is open to all players who have a slot in the main event.

Sandwiched between WDC and SMM, the tournament will certainly spice up the month of November - something viewers can especially look forward to as it nears us. Who will take the trophy this time, and will M5 defend their crown?
