Unlike SMM, the Asian Championship Games (ACG) have never been the playground for Chinese teams. However, with recent developments in the Chinese scene, strong contenders have emerged for the title, but only one team will earn the chance to play for China this year.

Last year, China's representative at the annual World Cyber Games' (WCG) "Asian Championship Games" were Deity, and their performance was certainly sub-par at best.
Eliminated at the group stages by eventual champions 
StarsBoba, the team has since disbanded and will not make an appearance this year. Some of its players, however, continue to play on in current teams, including iG.Z's SanSheng.

As things go, the month of September will be a packed one for the Chinese. Already juggling commitments to HFGL, WDC Chinese qualifiers, Hold Cup and Dream Cup, the ACG qualifiers will definitely spell 'busy' for the elite Chinese teams.
