Nerchio falls to dark horse roof in ZOTAC EU #73

The German Zerg player "roof" defeated the top-ranked Zerg virtuoso Artur "Nerchio" Bloch in the 73rd edition of the ZOTAC Cup. On his way to the €100 EUR prize final, he also eliminated Gigaschatten, AoWLuXus, Epic_, GoOdy, Forsen and Magik.

While roof is somewhat unheard of in the European StarCraft 2 scene, yesterday's win in the weekly ZOTAC Cup was not his first. In the cup's 65th edition the German Zerg player defeated the Team GosuGamers player Mattias "Naugrim" Ottosson in the grand final.

The Serious Gaming player is ranked 136th in the European Grandmaster division according to SC2ranks.com and has also had success in the LITE editions of CraftCup with one first place in early June.
