EHOME's charismatic captain announced his retirement from DotA a few days ago, but claimed that he would not leave the DotA scene completely, rather return in a different capacity. Today, team World Elite has announced on their microblog the imminent arrival of a superstar into the organisation.
From the WE microblog, it is still uncertain as to who this superstar is. However, legendary Chinese player 2009, now WE's manager reveal that this superstar is none other than 820.
Excerpt from WE microblog:
"Tomorrow we shall have our own celebration, and we have good news. A superstar will soon join WE which we will announce tomorrow. Can anyone guess who he is?"
2009 microblog:
"The ultimate coach, only after you retire do we get to become team mates 820. Welcome aboard."
Being amongst the first generation of professional DotA players in China, 820 possess copious amounts of experience, and knows how to perform in high pressure situations. Add into the mix his knowledge of the scene both in China and overseas and one can easily see what he brings to the table. It will be a tantalising prospect if 820 joins WE and becomes a manager together with 2009. Two legendary captains will undoubtedly form a formidable partnership.
