The organizers of World Cyber Games USA will only be sending national finalists to Korea from League of Legends and Crossfire.
This means that the remaining two main titles Counter-Strike 1.6 and StarCraft 2 will not receive any sponsorship funding from the organization due to "sponsorship funding issues".
American hard-shooters and RTS masters are free to pay their own participation at the grand finals in South Korea after having qualified in a national finals held online.
The finalists of StarCraft 2 and Counter-Strike 1.6 will, however, be sponsored to play in the World Cyber Games Pan-Am games in San Paulo, Brazil in November 4-6.
