Hold Cup pits China vs Asia

In the spirit of HFGL, a new cup has emerged promising more region rivalry. This time, six teams have been invited, of which two are from China (EHOME, iG.Y) and the rest from Asia (MY, MUFC, SkyNet, MitH.Trust). A total prize pool of almost 20,000 RMB ($3,000) is up for grabs.

It looks like the creme de la creme of Chinese DotA will be representing China in this tournament but will it be enough? With arguably Asia's best - the Vietnam boys who have proven themselves capable of taking down the Chinese in the China vs Vietnam showmatches along with the Thai team who eliminated TyLoo at Gamescom - already playing to win, it is almost certain that they will not go down without a fight.

The good news is that this tournament will once again be played on 11 Game Client, which means that an English stream can be available to viewers. Alternatively, fans may choose to view the stream on their own by downloading the client itself.

Matches will be played at 13:30 CET every Saturday starting on 10th September. The Grand Finals will be played on October 1st.

National pride, glory and thousands of dollars - with so much at stake, who will stand out on top? Who will rise to the challenge and take home the championship? Who will 'hold' it till the end?
