$800,000 Donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation by Blizzard

50% of all sales of the $10 Moonkin Hatchling were given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation which totaled $800,000.

Last year the Moonkin Hatchling went on sale for WoW players all around the world and now half of the sales from the pet have been donated to the Make-A-Wish foundation. Below is a video released by Blizzard highlighting some of the events from Make-A-Wish's visit to Blizzard on April 29th.



Blizzard is currently continuing their philanthropic activities with their Cenarion Hatchling pet where 100% of the sales will go to Red Cross America for their efforts in Japan.
