Blizzard Creates New Pet to Help Japan Earthquake Relief

Blizzard has created a special Cenarion Hatchling pet that can be bought from the Pet Store that will have all proceeds go to the American Red Cross's Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami relief efforts.

Blizzard's latest pet to be bought from the pet store will have 100% of the proceeds go to the American Red Cross's Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami relief efforts. All purchases for the $10 Cenarion Hatchling will be donated to the effort until July 31st. The Cenarion Hatchling is a twin of the rare Hippogryph Hatchling that can be found randomly in the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game set, Heroes of Azeroth. This is the first time that Blizzard has created a pet to help out a cause, but of course not the first that Blizzard has donated to charity.
