KD-Gaming introduces new HoN team, led by DeMeNt`

Almost eight months after the disbanding of KD-Gaming.HoN, the German organization is back on the competitive scene with a brand new roster. Led by former DotA pro DeMeNt`, the newly-formed team is full of experienced DotA players and is aiming for a top finish in the HoN Super Series.

KD-Gaming has attracted numerous teams and players in the past, including today's Online-Kingdom, Dirty Minds, and players Kebap and H4nn1, among others. They recently made an announcement of their new team, including statements from a couple of the players.

The announcement recalls the past success of KD.HoN prior to their disbandment, named one of the greats along with "Fnatic.MSI, SK Gaming, Evil Geniuses and Dirty Minds." They are looking to reclaim their spot among these teams with a lineup of players who have more than two years of DotA experience and a year of HoN experience.

The New KD.HoN Lineup:

SouthAfrica Andre "DreamsOfSin" Du Toit (Manager)
Germany Mirsad "DeMeNt`" Djokovic (Team Leader)
Germany Kevin "Skilla" Spachmann
Germany Murat "pash" Karagöz
UnitedStates Stefan "TKOlol" Riccelli
Germany Antonino "SkyHigh`" Pollina

The German team is appropriately debuting in my-liga.de's HoN Super Series, where they have made it through Round 1 and are expecting big results. [KD] Skilla has confidently stated, "I expect a very good placement during HoN Super Series, I also believe that we will compete against the current top teams in a short time." Looking at the brackets, they are certainly in a position to do so. In fact, I could see them making at least a Top 8 finish.

Team leader [KD] DeMeNt` has a positive outlook in his first statement with the organization and a focus on their performance in the HSS.

Statement from Germany KD | DeMeNt`:

I am first of all glad to be able to build up such a strong team with nice personalities. My aim for the team at the moment is to practice as much as possible. It is important to build up a good team-spirit before trying to reach higher goals like winning the HSS. It's not easy to do so as we are a new team, but we will do our best to win it. From the experience so far I have a good feeling about entering the top ranks of the HSS, but only time will tell.

It's interesting that many of the top HoN teams consist of Europeans and one American, or vice versa (Americans and one European); the new KD.HoN lineup is no exception. Is this a recipe for success? We'll be eagerly awaiting to see how they match up against the top established teams.
