Park Sang-Ik, also known as oGs.TheWinD, part of the powerhouse team Old Generations; who is currently sharing their house with what might be the biggest non-korean team at the current moment, Team Liquid; has been appointed as manager of the korean team.
This means that Spunky will dedicate himself more the growth of the team and StarCraft II in general. Which can only mean good things to come for eSports, the oGs and, of course, the Starcraft II professional scene.
The ex-Brood War pro will not stop playing for the time being, as he has also announced he'll be participating in the GSL season 3 qualifiers both as a player and a manager, hoping he can improve on his Ro16 position, even if he fell to the eventual champion, NesTea.
With this announcement also comes the news that oGsGon will indeed be hanging up his mouse, or at the very least won't try to qualify for the GSL as he'll be part of the coaching staff. However, these changes hopefully are but one of many to come that will ensure Starcraft II's rise to the top of eSports.
