Blizzard introduces Dial-in Authenticator

Not feeling secure enough? Blizzard has introduced a Dial-in Authenticator system, which for now is only available for U.S. residents.

People with the impossibility to authenticate their accounts via a regular Battle.net Authenticator or via an application on their phones can now be safe in not having their World of WarCraft accounts stolen.

When you sign up for the dial-in authenticator, you will be asked to make a toll-free call from a specific phone of your choice. That number will then be used for authorize unusual login attempts on your account. An unusual activity would be playing from a different location.

You would then be asked to call in and provide your selected PIN and a unique single-use security code before you can access your account.

Discuss: Do you use an authenticator?
