Out of the pool of qualificants, former Brood War top players Grzegorz "MaNa" Komincz and Geoff "iNcontroL" Robison are included. A total of eight players went through a qualifier to reach the group stage.
The remaining 24 players were invited. Darius "TLO" Wünsch, Yang Chia "SEn" Cheng, Chris "HuK" Loranger, Jian Carlo "Fenix" Moraya Alejo and Oleksii "White-Ra" Krupnyk are only some of the players who will be battling for the top prize.
