As some of you may have noticed, last week a cult with the name Twilights Hammer appeared in Stormwind and other major faction cities, rallying citizens to join them. Members of the cult that fell under the convincing persuasion of the recruiters left everything behind and families lost their loved ones. The cult was spreading fear and uncertainty across the cities, making citizens uneasy and making King Varian Wrynn utterly furious at the cult for trying to wrench the people from his beloved kingdom.
A set of chain quests became available a week ago, allowing people to stop the cult and find out who was behind it; it turned out to be Cho'gall, leader of the Twilight Hammer. They were developing portals to help bring the elementals into major faction cities to begin the Elemental invasion process. On a sidenot, in Cho'gall's speeches in the game, he made many references towards someone or something about to arrive; most likely referring to the arrival of Deathwing and hinting that Cho'gall is an accomplice of Deathwing.
After the chain of quests, the user lets the King know who is behind the efforts and King Wrynn concludes the chain of quests saying that he will start develop a plan to destroy the cult and their efforts to disunite the kingdom. However, this week, the same threat has arised once again.
Elemental Invasions: Part 2It seems that there is a recent disturbance in the elementals of Azeroth and the Earthen Ring is seeking help from the warriors of Azeroth to help put these elementals to peace. To begin the first set of quests, talk to your respective Earthen Ring leader at your faction's major city(Alliance: Stormwind Bank Steps, Horde: Orgrimmar Bank Steps). This NPC will ask for your help as he is late for a meeting with the King and is awaiting tablets from a courier at Stormwind Harbor(or Zeppelin Tower for horde). You must go to the courier and collect the tablet he carries to the NPC.
Another part of the quest chain is having to travel to Ironforge(or Orgrimmar for Horde) to complete the quest named "Subduing the Elements". You will be given a bag of Earthen Ring Supplies in which you will find Elemental Sapta and a Cleansing Totem. You drink the Elemental Sapta to be able to see the agitated Earth Elementals and use the Cleansing Totem to put them at peace.
Feat of Strength:Tripping the Rifts
This feat of strength can only be acquired during the event of the Elemental Invasions. In order to attain this feat of strength, a player must close each type of rift that is spawned at all question locations(a full list of rift spawning locations can be found at the very end of this post): Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. These rifts open at around 52-56 minute time intervals.
