f.l: Check and Dayfly
This is the first time Asia clashes with Europe in an international competition. What are your expectations?
Check: Never play against European players before, so i'm very excited and also nervous. I will practice hard and try my best to bring awesome games to the audience.
What do you think of the European skill level?
Check: Never played with them before, so it's hard to talk about their skill levels. However, they are different from Asia players, often they will use some special tactics.
Dayfly: After I watched some of their replays, I found out that their play style is very different from us, so I'm a little worried. I hope my strategies will work.
There are four Zerg players in Team Asia, and four Protoss players in Team Europe. What do you think is the reason behind this?
Check: That's because Zerg is dominating the Asia server, and Protoss is the most dominate race in Europe.
Dayfly: I have no idea why it came out like this. But I think this should have nothing to do with the regional difference.
What do you think of the balance in the game at the moment?
Check: I'm pretty satisfied with the balance, but i'd like to see a change on the Void ray's damage.
Dayfly: It's too fast to climb on the tech tree now, so the game's outcome usually depends on a player's tech choice. Speaking of the balance of the game, I believe Blizzard will continue to adjust. For now, I do not have any complaint.
Your teammates are coming from different countries and regions. Do you think such a match-up is good for the players to improve, or is it creating obstacles for the match?
Check: I think this is a very good opportunity to learn from other players.
Which player from the European team do you think you need pay extra attention to?
Check: I do not know much about these European players, so I do not have any specific target.
Dayfly: Looks like my first opponet will be Zpux. Because the different play styles, it's a bit harder to practice, however, I will do my best as usual.
Are you familiar with the Asian players? What do you think of them before this competition?
Check: I played with Sen, Loner, and Ace a lot, they are all very strong, so I think we will have good results in this competition.
Dayfly: Asian zergs like to marco and use multalisks, and can quickly change tactics accordingly. Maka, Dayfly, and Gerrard are all practicing hard right now, so I believe we will bring exciting games.
Which team do you think has the most chance to win? What are the possible causes to the result?
Dayfly: We have too little information about the European team, so it's hard to tell. But, Asian players are good at timing, I think this will help a lot.
Any words for your supporters?
Check: I think people saw I lost a lot of games recently. But I'm practicing hard right now, I'm coming back now - This time, Check will win!
Dayfly: I will try my best to bring some awesome games to the audience.
